Department: Global Automotive – New Product Development

Reporting to: Manager Product Development Engineering

Responsibilities:
• Analyze requests for quotations
• Design and develop new products to meet customer requirements and manage projects
from concept to production
• Interact with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Controlling, Logistics, etc. and with customers,
suppliers, etc. to manage your projects
• Accountability to bring your projects to a successful completion
• Working under tight deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of professional experience in product design and development in product
design and development of the automotive components
• In depth knowledge of plastics material and injection molding
• Proficiency with CAD software (CREO preferred), CATIA V5 knowledge would be an asset
• In depth knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA and DVP&R Test Plan Development
• Excellent English language skills, verbal & written
• Team player who is able to work autonomously and efficiently manage time
